This past winter I have finaly got my car running perfect. I still had the occasional pinging but I used some fuel injector cleaner mixed in with a couple of tanks of gas and it is much better.
This year I am going to get it dynoed and will go to the track for the first time. My tuner figures I should get around 215 hp at the wheels and should easily go under 14 seconds in the quarter.
Now I have co-worker with a '97 M3 who regularly attends at the track and his best has been 13.88 at about 103 mph. The thing is whenever we have a 0-100 mph sprint he takes me off the line but I always catch him and beat him by a couple of car lengths. What would that make my 1/4 time?

22" or 24" slicks and a good burn out. An LSD would also help very much. Don't forget good driving. It is possible. Good luck.

I ran 13.9's (I forget the 100th and 100th's) all night once on street tires (Yoko AVSi), the basic 6psi setup, 8 degrees timing and no doo-dads at all. It was around 65 degrees. Spare tire and floor mats removed.
Maybe you could beat your buddy's time... You're gonna need one hell of a launch though! I was getting 2.2 and 2.3 second 60' times that night.
Throw on slicks and you should kill him, easy.

I'd say it's definitely possible! My '94 GS-R ran 13.685 @ 100.xx in the 1/4 mile with JRSC @ 6 psi on M/T 20x8x14 slicks. That was with the stock clutch and full interior, spare tire, jack, tools in the back, etc. I only pulled a 2.003 60' time, there's much room to better that time. Go for it, Syncro! Can't wait. Will post my results once the track opens in April sometime.
The Mick - I see you are in N. Carolina. I was there on a biz trip in January. I stayed at the Duke University Golf Club Hotel in Durham. Played a round of golf with the temp around 65 degrees. Had dinner one night at the Angus Barn Restaurant. Neat place.

2.0 60ft on stock tires.
I couldn't do that even once in a 1000 launches.
